Dreams do come true... When I was little our family would travel to Oregon coast, I have several great memories of those trips. As I got older I always wanted to have my own gift store on the coast. I never did dream that someday that dream would come true, but it did! For years I would check the internet for small stores for sale on the Oregon coast and most of the time nothing would be available. Over the summer of 2008 I came across a store called "Raindogs" in a small town called Yachats. The next day I drove down (from Spokane, WA) to check out the store and area. I had never been that far south on the coast so it was a real exciting experience. I instantly loved the area, it is so beautiful and the store was exactly what I had dreamed of. I had lived in Spokane, WA for about 30 years where I was employed as a graphic designer and was ready for a change. I came down to the coast with my mom because she had always wanted to retire along the coast. So we were making "both" our dreams come true. We packed up our six dogs.... yes, six (lol) and moved to the beautiful town of Yachats. I have (1) lab mix, (2) chinese cresteds and my mom has (3) pugs.
