Orders and Returns
All returns must be accompanied by an RMA number in order to be processed. To obtain an RMA number please contact us through our online contact form or by telephone. RMA number refers to return merchandise authorization number used to track an item that has been authorized for return. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number.
Security
When you give RAINDOGS your credit card number or other sensitive information, that data is encrypted and sent to our computers to be processed. All sensitive information is encrypted throughout the entire process, and access to this information on raindogsonline.com servers is restricted to a small group of authorized employees.
Other security measures include making all employees aware of safe security practices and daily review of security measures within our encrypted system. Personal information actually passes through 3 levels or forms of encryption as it passes through the RAINDOGS ordering facility. We want nothing less than a secure ordering system we would feel comfortable using ourselves, and that is exactly what is in place.
There are several ways to confirm that a Web page you are viewing is secure. If the site uses SSL encryption, as raindogsonline.com does, then you will see either a padlock (if you are using Internet Explorer) or a key (if you are using Netscape Navigator) near the bottom of your browser window. You will also note that the Internet address of the Web page, typically displayed near the top of your browser, will begin with the text "https://" rather than simply...
"http://" (e.g., "https://www.raindogsonline.com/...). This extra "s" indicates the use of a secure server, and that encryption of sensitive data is in operation. SSL encryption is only necessary when the browser is passing sensitive information such as during the checkout phase of ordering items from the online store.
